While I believe everything IS Consciousness/Source Energy, I also have experienced in my life a movement to a deeper and higher level awareness. This has come through:
Becoming a mother.
Playfulness.
Creativity.
Meditation/spiritual practice.
There has been an unlocking of the mind’s prison that got constructed through organized religion and schooling that has led me to see a different truth about life.
It’s a hard thing to explain because it’s such a feeling. I guess that’s why there are so many metaphors in religion for it, eh? Tree of Life, Jacob’s Ladder, Eightfold Path, Medicine Wheel, etc.
In my experience, Nirvana isn’t that hard to find but it’s hard to stay there. The walls want to come flying back up. It takes a lot of courage to face the deconstruction of the ego and the allure of certainty is so strong.
I find myself wondering how many more layers need to be peeled back in order to stay at that level. I also wonder if the layers are infinite.

I think everything in life has a spectrum. Light to Dark and all the Grey in between. Male to Female and everything in between. There are days when my consciousness is way positive and others where it is at the other end of the spectrum. It has days when it is centered and clear or way off and foggy.
